UC Berkeley Botanical Garden: Katharina + Marwan

Marwan and Katharina met in India. They fell for each other as they explored New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore.  After bus rides with long talks, swapping headphones, and playing each other carefully selected tunes they knew they found something extraordinary.

They held their wedding ceremony under the trees in the Redwood  Grove at the UC Botanical Garden. “The … UC Botanical Garden is located in the hills above UC Berkeley, nestled in Strawberry Canyon and overlooking the San Francisco Bay. ” And it’s as lovely as it sounds. The weather promised rain but the grey skies seemed to only enhance the lushness of the colors. The clouds were threatening but gave us enough time for some beautiful photos of the couple in the cactus gardens.  The rain starting coming down as we made our way to Camino, another perfect setting… with delicious food and cozy atmosphere. It was such a sweet and fun wedding.
