The University Club of San Francisco Wedding : Jason + Connor

I truly feel like I work with the best folks.. like  Jason and Connor. They’re super funny, good hearted, and the sweetness they share with one another and others is contagious . We had some fun phone calls brainstorming about what’s important to them and what they love .. for their wedding and engagement session.  One of the things that came up was their love for San Francisco. These two were already planning a super fun and elegant wedding in SF so they decided to go with an old, industrial backdrop for their engagement session. And it turned out awesome.
And now for their super fun and elegant wedding at The University Club of San Francisco..

Their big day started with getting ready at the Stanford Court.  After so many years of shooting weddings I find documenting the couple before the ceremony to be so special…I feel ( and photograph)  the build up, anticipation, and excitement or the tender moments like Jason wearing his dad’s watch so he had his dad with him on his wedding day. I also get to meet and spend some time with some important members of the wedding. ..framily… family or friends who’ve become family. ( On a side note I want to give a shout out to their sharp suits by SuitSupply. )

After getting the final touches we took to the streets of downtown San Francisco for some photos!
Stanford Court was catty corner away from the venue it was easy breezy to get some great shots before the ceremony. Side note.. couples photos before the ceremony works really well ( if that’s your jam.. that is) because then you have more time during cocktail hour for all the friends and family that came to see you! We even got some family photos done beforehand which means even more cocktail hour play time!
The University Club of San Francisco Wedding Ceremony
For their venue they chose The University Club of San Francisco. It has windows that line the wall where you have the most perfect skyline view. The club is truly a gem rock smack dab in the middle of the city! A perfect setting for a ceremony.
After the ceremony we headed downstairs for cocktail hour. When dinner was ready, family and friends started the night off with heartfelt toasts. It was lovely.
And the festivities continued for the dance party reception..
What can I say..everybody looked dapper AF, DJ AirSun was on point, the dance floor was full, and party were popping! The last thing to note which I absolutely loved.. was Jason and Connor’s first dance was in front of the skyline AND there was a building with rainbow lights shining bright!
